TA:REK is a multi-talented musician, composer, producer and DJ from Brussels, Belgium. He is an artist who created his image with a unique style to delivering melodic sounds with an indie and afro-twist.

TA:REK has a creative passion for electronic music and more specifically techno, afro, indie and melodic however TA:REK shows an expansive knowledge in the music world and isn’t afraid to mix with contrasting genres.

TA:REK has referred to music as being the biggest part of his life and is influenced by icons such as Stephan Bodzin, Solomun, Tale of Us, Carl Cox, Joris Voorn and many other talents. He also enjoys a versatile range of music such as classical music, hip-hop, rock, house and techno.

TA:REK has produced multiple tracks such as Genesis, COSMO, K Dimension, K.a.m.a.l.a and recently he did a remix of a huge 90’s hit ‘THE FUNNK FHNNH’.

TA:REK enjoys to play for an audience his favourite being in Asia. ‘I have played in some cool venues my favourite being Shelter (ILLUSION, Phuket) however I have a special place in my heart for the gigs I’ve had in Vietnam the people have a special place in my heart.’
